The government has announced that 18 new apartments at the Ockham Residential Tuatahi development in Mt. Albert are now available to eligible KiwiBuild buyers through the ballot process.
These apartments are not being built specifically for KiwiBuild but are an existing project which is underway and making a few apartments available through the KiwiBuild process for first home buyers. The real advantage is that there are just 18 apartments being made available in a much larger project, and therefore you will get a good mix of people from varied situations.
Tuatahi Mt. Albert Apartments
Situated in Mt Albert with neighbouring parklands, these homes are also adjacent to the brand new Waterview Shared Path, in close proximity to Unitec’s Mt Albert campus and within walking distance of two train stations.
The 18 apartments Tuatahi properties being offered through KiwiBuild consist of;
9 x Studio Apartments: $435,000 to $480,000
Ranging from 40m2 to 49m2, plus balconies, across all levels
A scooter park, bicycle park and storage locker are included. Note: there is no option to purchase a car park with studio apartments
6 x One-bedroom Apartments: $480,000 to $500,000

3 x Two-bedroom apartments: $600,000
Ranging from 64m2 to 65m2, plus balconies on levels 2, 3 and 4.
All KiwiBuild apartments offer double glazing, a heat pump and a complete appliance package including fridge/freezer, induction cooktop, oven, rangehood, dishwasher and condenser washer/dryer. These homes will provide comfortable secure living.
A bicycle park and storage locker are included with all apartments plus the option to purchase a car park is available on all 2 bedroom apartments for an additional $50,000.

The Tuatahi Display Suite is located at 54 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn.
The Tuatahi Display Suite will open daily 12pm to 3pm until the ballot closes on Friday 16 November.
The ballots for the Tuatahi KiwiBuild apartments on Monday, giving successful buyers the chance to secure ownership of their new property before Christmas this year.
Only eligible, pre-qualified buyers can enter the ballots for these homes, so anyone interested in the KiwiBuild homes at Tuatahi should visit the KiwiBuild website and begin the pre-qualification process. This development was in progress before the KiwiBuild concept was in place so Ockham Residential also have a range of apartments available for purchase from people that do not qualify or whom miss out in the ballot process.
