Your New Home Should Include Colour’s Of Your Life

You are building your new home and you want to add that personal touch.

What better way than to add some colour to your home.

What colours do you want in your life?

Building Companies Use Colour Pallets

Many of the new houses built by the building companies look very similar and use very similar colours.

Some may say they are a bit boring because of it, but the building companies like to make things easy for the buyers and so have had created some standard colour pallets that they use over and over again with various houses. In many cases as the new owner you might be given three colour pallets to choose from, and that’s it.

Even the various building companies tend to all have similar colour combinations.

But We’re Not Experts…

Some may say that we are not experts, but I would counter that argument with the question “what are experts?

I was once at a wine tasting and the “expert” (who I might add was a wine master) asked us for an opinion on a wine. A few of us said that we liked that wine while others were not so keen on it. The expert then explained that we are all experts purely for the fact that we know what we like.

The same can be said about colours.

We will all be able to look at a house and know if we like the colour or not.

If you are creating a home for you and your family then you had might as well colour it the way you like, and there should be very little difference in the cost too.

You Can Research Online

Like so many things these days it’s often easiest to do some research online first.

While I was researching I came across many websites created by the paint companies which have some useful tools, but I also found a great website called Design Seeds.

Design Seeds is the creation of Jessica Colaluca who once had a career in corporate design studios working for companies including Ford, Reebok, and Timberland.

Today she is immersed in Design Seeds, a business inspired by the Indian Proverb “All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.”

I would suggest that you take a look at her website for inspiration and ensure that your new home incorporates the colours of your life.
